Mindfulness

Bahagia sekali bila kita bisa hidup di saat ini, mindfulness. Namun perlu usaha karena tak mudah.
Kebayang betapa bahagia bila bisa mindfulness seperti ini:

“I clean this teapot with the kind of attention I would have were I am giving the baby Buddha or Jesus a bath.” Thich Nhat Hanh
Untuk bisa hening, bisa masuk dalam kebahagiaan diri, kita perlu katarsis dulu deh. Begitu banyak sampah-sampah dalam diri kita selama evolusi lahir berulang-kali hingga hidup pada saat ini.
Feelings, whether of compassion or irritation, should be welcomed, recognized, and treated on an absolutely equal basis; because both are ourselves. The tangerine I am eating is me. The mustard greens I am planting are me. I plant with all my heart and mind. I clean this teapot with the kind of attention I would have were I am giving the baby Buddha or Jesus a bath. Nothing should be treated more carefully than anything else. In mindfulness, compassion, irritation, mustard green plant, and teapot are all sacred.

Latihan-latihan katarsis seperti dalam program ‘Self Empowerment for Total Wellbeing” di Anand Ashram perlu untuk membersihkan diri kita agar mudah memasuki Zen atau Mindfulness.
Setelah latihan-latihan katarsis mari kita berlatih untuk menyatukan diri kita ~body, mind, soul~ dengan latihan Kundalini Yoga.
Baru deh kita melangkah ke Zen atau Mindfulness.
Mari kita berlatih...semoga kita semua berbahagia...
